Bed Bugs

Bed bugs are nocturnal and elusive, making them difficult to detect. However, there are several signs that can indicate bed bugs. The first is bite symptoms on skin—red, itchy bites, usually on arms or shoulders. Aside from that, look for small, dark, sand-like droppings or blood smears on your sheets. You can also find empty exoskeletons they have moulted. If you think you have a bed bug infestation, don’t hesitate to call Scout Pest Control immediately. Don’t attempt to control them yourself—the longer you wait, the more difficult it is to get rid of them.

Bat Bugs

Bat bugs are cousins to bed bugs, and they look very similar. It is very easy for even a trained technician to confuse the two, but without correct identification you could be in for a frustrating and expensive journey. At Scout Pest Control our technicians are trained to look for signs that may indicate that your bed bug problem is in fact a bat bug infestation. Once Bat Bugs are properly identified, the first step is removing the existing bat population. Bats are a protected species, and can often carry rabies. Bat removal is best left to the professionals. Once the bats are removed we can begin treatment to eliminate the bat bug population left behind.

Don’t leave it to chance, if you think you may have bed bugs, or bat bugs, call the experts at Scout Pest Control to get guaranteed control!
